Sol Ortega, Dj and producer from Argentina, began her career in 2012.
During five years, she has been a part of the group of resident artists of Under Club, one of the best clubs in Buenos Aires, which allowed her to perform next to many great artists, and start earning her space in the electronic music scene, not only in Argentina, but also several countries in Latin America.
In 2018, she was summoned by Boiler Room, a live streaming platform, with a large audience worldwide. To date, Sol has performed in many of the most recognized clubs and events in the world, such as Tresor, Berghain, About Blank, PAL, MMA, Toffler Festival, Baum Festival, Concrete, among many others.

The DJ is in charge of ensuring the music doesn’t stop playing, and generating a better experience at any event or party. Like any other type of art, it allows us to tell a story through selection and manipulation, in this case, of music.
You will know the basic equipment used in most of the venues around the world, so that you can feel comfortable in any djing booth.
We will teach you what are the first steps to take in Djing. We will delve into “bars” and you will be able to understand how quadrature works in electronic music mixing.
In this chapter, we will teach you the importance of timing in music, and how to beat-match two tracks before mixing them together.
Once the previous steps have been completed, we will finally be ready to mix. We will teach you some foolproof ways to do it.
There are different ways to mix music, depending on the composition or genre. You will learn some elements that we can take into account to generate a previous strategy, and make sure the mix doesn’t fail.
In this chapter, we will be analyzing some of the elements that make up the tracks, that we can take into account and use to our advantage, generating less traditional mixes and our own style.
We will be delving into some additional tools, such as Loops and Hot Cues, which will allow us to have further control and make our sessions more fun.
The selection and organization of music is a very important step in DJ’s work. We will give you some tips in order to do it so that you can work in a comfortable and tidier way.
